PASSERELLE ESC COMMPETITIVE EXAM 2010

 1st and 2nd year

• Exam preparation day : Saturday March 6th 2010 at ESC Montpellier
• Registration deadline : midnight Wednesday March 31st 2010
• Written exams : Wednesday April 14th 2010
• ESC Montpellier oral exams : May 29th – June 14th 2010
  

ARPÈGE test (2 hours) – 1st year

A multiple choice test on general knowledge, logics and maths along with questions on memorised texts.

Tage - Mage test (2 hours) – 2nd year

A multiple choice test designed to assess verbal aptitude, problem solving capacity and the ability to reason.

English test (1 hour 30)

A multiple choice text covering grammar, language structure, language use and reading comprehension.

Summary (2 hours)

Candidates study documents pertaining to social, economic or cultural matters and in a short period of time extract key information and provide a summary.

Free-choice component (2 hours)

Candidates can chose from 15 tests according to their original qualification or personal interest :

• German • Biology • Law • Economics • Spanish • Management • IT • Marketing • Mathematics • Philosophy, arts, human sciences • Technology.

Language orals

English and one other language (German, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Russian). There are two 20 minute tests which consist of :

• listening to and commenting on a recording
• conversation with the examiner
