Like the GSCM of which ESC is a part, the school is a ‘section’ of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Montpellier, itself a public administration body. The management structure of the school secures free organisation, implementation and management of school strategy.

ESC Montpellier bodies

• The Board of Management, presided by a manager of a major company, consists of 5 Board Members providing real, strategic input for the Group : The Chamber of Commerce Member, the Companies Member, the Local Authority Member, the Universities Member and the Group Member.

• The Scientific Council, under the presidency of a University professor, ensures a permanent link between course programmes and research within the institution.

• The Management Committee ensures the coherence of scientific, administrative and financial decisions taken by the Group Director.

• The Social Council, presided by an external member, organises implementation of ESC's social policies.

• The General Pedagogical Management Council for ESC programmes, presided by the Director General of the Group and the ESC, in charge of improving programme teaching content.
