ESC Montpellier - putting equal opportunity into practice

In addition to the standard support mechanisms which may be available to students (Government grants, European grants etc.), ESC has set up its own financial support system, which can help overcome problems caused by lack of funds which might otherwise represent a serious obstacle to studying.

Today, the School's policy of equal opportunity goes further still: looking to go beyond offering support to students already enrolled, ESC Montpellier also opens its doors to deserving students of limited resources, allowing them to study free of financial constraints.

In 1994, ESC Montpellier set-up a Social Fund, three years later, in 1997, introducing a social advancement programme through apprenticeship; an original scheme which has since proved to be both successful and effective. Whilst 2000 saw the introduction of the 'Bourses Entreprises du mérite' grant, at the start of the academic year 2006, ESC introduced a new pilot scheme to combine work and study; the 'Combined JOB programme' aimed at allowing students to work and study at the same time, without detriment to academic work.

Student fees for the academic year 2008/2009 were :

  • Undergraduate Programme (UG3/UG4) : 7762 € per year.
  • Graduate Programme
    2 years : 8056 €
    1 year Excluding AE : 7460 €

Financing available to students will depend on a student's individual circumstances and may, depending on the situation, include several types of aid.
